A Lichfield and Leicester based firm of accountants has strengthened its growth plans with a directorship promotion for an experienced industry professional.

Mr Steven Payton has been appointed director as the Midlands based practice looks to continue its growth within the regional market.

Mr Payton joined Inspired Accountants as a tax consultant in January this year and has immediately been able to make a significant contribution towards the practice’s growth strategy.

Commenting on the directorship, Mr Paul Bulzacchelli managing director at Inspired Accountants said: “Steven has past experience of working for HM Revenue & Customs and some of the leading accountancy firms within the UK.  So to attract someone of Steven’s calibre was a great step forward for the practice earlier this year.

“This directorship is fully deserved as Steven has been instrumental in the success of our recently opened Leicester office.  Steven further enhances our senior management structure and I am confident that his strong commercial and taxation knowledge will stand him in good stead at board level.”

Steven has over 25 years worth of experience gained through working for some of the largest and most recognised accountancy practices, including KPMG, PKF and RSM.  Prior to joining Inspired Accountants, Steven was the tax partner of an accountancy practice based in Derby.
